Today we had dedicated to spending at the beach. We found these two young men in our spot but a few more shovels full of took care of this problem. Actually we had the day fairly well planned or I should say the Admiral had planned it for us. The weather was perfect. Our first stop with our fully loaded bikes was to rent a beach cabana to protect our fair skin from the blistering heat. The cost for the day was $26 and well worth it. We were set up with a base location good until 1630 in the afternoon.
Once established we settled in to people watch, read and relax. We attempted a splash in the ocean but ankle deep was all we got. It was still a bit chilly for us but these Canadians went in the water like it was a warm tub.
